Top 100s launched for London Wine, Spirits & Beer Competitions

Whatever sector of the drinks industry you work in, we all like a list to find out who or which company is performing better than others in their channel. If you enter a drinks competition then winning a Gold, Silver or Bronze certainly helps determine and define how well a particular product is viewed by its peers. Which is why the London Wine, Spirits, and Beer competitions have gone one step further by publishing Top 100 lists of the best performing products in each category. Find out here who came where in each Top 100 list and also details on how to enter the 2020 competition.

The new Top 100 lists of the best performing wines, spirits and beers in the London Competitions will help give consumers an even bigger steer on what products they should be buying.

The top performing products in the different London Wine, Spirits and Beers Competitions are to be given a further boost with the launch of the new Top 100 best scoring drinks in each category.

The move is the latest innovation for the drinks competition that looks to set itself apart from other international drinks competitions by being the only one that judges wines, beers and spirits on their quality, but also their value for money, and what they look on shelf, in just the same way that consumers do.

Sid Patel, chief executive and founder of the Beverage Trade Network that runs the London competitions, said: “By introducing a Top 100 for each of our three main London drinks competitions we are able to create a true benchmark for consumers that will help them make purchase decisions when looking to buy the top performing beers, wines and spirits in their category.”

The first Top 100s lists have been compiled based on the results of the top scoring wines, spirits and beers in the separate 2019 competitions.
