Woodwinters: London Account Manager
Salary circa £30k plus commission and bonus
Woodwinters is looking for an account manager to join the London on and off-trade sales department. Woodwinters, with a national team of nearly 40 employees, has fast become one of the most dynamic fine wine importers and distributors in the UK, with offices in both London and Scotland. Representing wineries from around the world, including iconic Italian estates like Benanti and Avignonesi, leading grower Champagne houses, such as Larmandier-Bernier and Delavenne, through to new wave producers from South Africa, which include Terracacura, Carinus Family Vineyards and other best in show New World producers like Felton Road and Yeringberg.
The ideal candidate will have experience in selling to the trade, although we will consider individuals looking to change disciplines and move into sales. A high level of knowledge and a passion for wine is essential, as is the ability to achieve and surpass sales targets.This is a competitive market and demands a high level of organisation, self-motivation and tenacity.
You will be provided with a small portfolio of accounts and will be expected to grow said portfolio with both fine dining restaurants and independent retailers.
There will be scope for selling to accounts outside of London, but the catchment area within the M25 will be the core of your business.

Qualifications: Equivalent WSET Level 3 or higher
Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office
