The International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show (IBWSS) UK will now take place on its originally scheduled dates - November 20-21 — at Christ Church, Spitalfields, London.
The change comes after severe flooding in the St Mary’s area of London rendered the previously planned venue inoperable. In the early hours of Thursday, September 25, 2025, a burst mains pipe caused catastrophic flooding, with more than one million litres of water pouring into the lower floor of St Mary’s. Essential infrastructure, including electrics, toilets, lifts, and kitchens, was destroyed.
Christ Church in Spitafields is the new venue for IBWSS UK in November
After evaluating multiple options, the IBWSS team has been able to secure Christ Church, Spitalfields, London as the new venue. This historic and centrally located site ensures IBWSS UK will proceed as planned, without altering the event dates.
“Our top priority was to protect our exhibitors’ investment and ensure visitors still experience IBWSS UK on the originally planned dates,” says Sid Patel, founder and chief executive of Beverage Trade Network, organisers of IWBSS.
“Christ Church, Spitalfields offers a prestigious and convenient setting, and we are confident it will provide an excellent experience for both exhibitors and attendees.”
The organisers would like to stress that no action is required from exhibitors or registered visitors. All contracts, registrations, and badges remain valid for the new venue. Exhibitor table numbers and locations will be reassigned within Christ Church, with exact floor plans.
Christ Church is an eight-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, making it easily accessible for both domestic and international visitors.
