We might spend our day-to-day work producing, importing, marketing, buying and selling wines, beers and spirits, but a vast number of the decisions we are making are dictated to by changes in consumer needs, how shoppers behave, and the technology and innovation that is driving so many of those decisions.
That is what the One Step Beyond initiative is all about. Opening the drinks, retail and hospitality sectors up to the mainstream consumer trends and issues that are having the biggest impact on our sectors – whether we realise it or not. Created by The Buyer and drinks marketing and business consultant, Sophie Jump, One Step Beyond was first launched in March 2020 with a conference just weeks before we went into the Covid lockdown.
The world has moved on a great deal in the subsequent two years, so much so that the One Step Beyond concept moved online with a series of quarterly webinars that looked to keep the drinks and hospitality sectors up to speed with the vast changes taking place in the world around us. (You can catch up on all on the previous online One Step Beyond events here).
We are now in a position to bring the live One Step Beyond conference back with another full day of expert insights from both inside and outside our sector. Here is the current line up of keynote speakers and panellists with extra names to be confirmed. Please note there are only 100 places available in the theatre so if you are interested then please book up now. You can buy your tickets here.
You can see what you are in for by catching up on the full report from our last One Step Beyond conference which is available here.
