    Terlato Wines

The Terlato’s are a fourth generation American wine family whose name has become synonymous with quality  as it has spent the last 70  years helping to shape the luxury wine business in the United States.

With a global portfolio of more than 80 world-class brands, the depth and breadth of the portfolio balances segment leaders with small, highly regarded brands considered to be jewels among their peers, as well as brands with strong growth potential.

Its UK and European range consists of the following key brands and wineries.
The Federalist is an American craft wine that pays tribute to the Founding Fathers of the United States. The wines are as bold as our Forefathers, and engage the consumer with a piece of Americana. Our bourbon barrel aged Cabernet is new to the range, launching at Prowein 2020. We age our Lodi Cabernet in charred Bourbon barrels for six months.
Big Max is the name of the brown bear that was spotted at the Keith’s family summer camp in Napa in the 1960’s, now known as Maxville winery. He became  legendary and the subject of campfire folklore for decades. At Prowein, Terlato Wines is introducing a Chardonnay and red blend to compliment the Cabernet Sauvignon. It also plays on its innovative packaging.

    Dueling Pistols

The Dueling Pistols captures a duel between Edward and Eli in the 1830’s in Hangtown, US. The gunfight was over a woman, witnessed by seven town folk. Both reds are 50/50 blends and are rich and muscular. There are two duels going on simultaneously. One the outer label, and the other inside the bottle. Who will win? Ed or Eli? Which grape will reign supreme?

Sanford is a beautiful, adobe built winery located in the Santa Rita Hills, CA. The winery and famous Sanford & Benedict vineyard, owned by the Terlato family is world renowned for its beautiful Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. This was the first winery visited in the hit movie Sideways.

    Rutherford Hill

Rutherford Hill winery sits on top a beautiful hill over-looking the Rutherford bench and Mayacamas Mountains. Purchased in 1996 by the Terlato family, this winery is dedicated to making world class, Napa Valley Merlot.

     Chimney Rock

Chimney Rock winery comprises of 119 acres in the Stags Leap District, Napa. Purchased by the Terlato family in 2004, the family and winemaking team are dedicated to making world class Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Maxville winery is new to the Terlato portfolio. A state of the art, modern winery that is nestled high up in the mountains of the rugged Chiles Valley AVA. The winery sits next to a lake and on 1000 acres of land, 100 dedicated to vines. We produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc.
